Challenge:
Build relationships with an increasingly diverse community in a new, expanded museum
Solution:
Create opportunities in CMTM’s new, 30,000 square foot home where families can connect with their neighbors, find commonalities, and celebrate differences through a rich exchange of cultural traditions, art, music, and theater. Hands On! collaborated with the museum team to develop a master plan and design that builds on CMTM’s success with play-based learning, theater, and programming, and broadens their reach to make the experience more inviting to a larger community.
Take a quick look at the new CMTM here:
Scope:
Master planning, exhibition design, architectural advising, space planning & infrastructure detailing, bid package development, label writing & graphic design, exhibit fabrication management & shop drawing review
