We want to express our profound appreciation to Kathy Gustafson-Hilton, who is heading off after 30 years as Hands On’s Creative Thinking Facilitator. Kathy helped our clients realize strong, visitor-focused missions that have impacted communities around the world. She also enriched our professional community by serving on the ASTC and ACM conference planning committees and introducing new session formats like the Fishbowl, Talk Show, Pecha Kucha, and Mistakes Were Made. As she branches out into a new phase of life, we hope her deep knowledge and experience continue to be a resource for all.
– Greg Belew and the Hands On! Team
It has been my pleasure and passion to help museums become places of inspiration, joy, and purpose. People are the most important part of what we do, those we work with, and those we work for. I want to thank all the people who have brought joy to my museum life: my teammates, our client teams, and the many others with whom we have collaborated. So many of you have become more than colleagues. You have become friends. As I enter a less work-focused phase of a life that has already seen many twists and turns, I remain very passionate about this field and the impactful work we do, and value the relationships I’ve built over 30 years. If you can benefit from my experience, guidance, or a friendly ear—maybe before those mistakes get made!—please reach out. My new email is kathygh5197@gmail.com. I can’t wait to see how our community evolves.
